How To Make Homemade Ginger Juice

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 2500 g fresh ginger makes about 1500ml ginger juice

Ginger Juice

Instructions
 

  • Peel 2500g of ginger with a knife or vegetable peeler.
  • Wash the peeled ginger thoroughly.
  • Then, use a slow juicer to separate the juice from the pulp or residue.
  • Alternatively, you can use a blender to grind the ginger and a cheesecloth or strainer to squeeze out the juice from the blended ginger.
  • Next, get the juice from the juicer compartment or the strained juice.
  • Afterward, put the juice in a pot and bring it to a boil.
  • After boiling, let it cool before storing it in ice trays.
  • Once it cools, store it in the freezer and allow the juice to solidify.
  • Here's how to use the ginger cubes and dregs:

a.Ginger Juice

  • i.In a glass, add brown sugar, ginger juice cubes, and hot or cold water.
  • ii.Adjust the quantity according to your desired taste.

b.Ginger milk curd

  • i.In a dessert bowl, add ginger juice cubes and hot milk.
  • ii.Adjust the quantity according to your desired taste.
  • iii.Store it in the fridge and wait for it to cool to become thick and creamy to eat.

c.Sun-dried ginger dregs

  • i.In a tray or flat container, line it with paper or kitchen towels to absorb the moisture from the ginger dregs.
  • ii.Then, arrange the ginger dregs flat on the tray and place them under the sun to dry out.
  • iii.Once it dries, store the sun-dried ginger dregs in a tea bag or filter bag and secure.
  • iv.When ready to use, soak the ginger dregs bag in water and allow it to disperse to be ready for soaking your feet.
