- 2 slices of white bread
- 5 strawberries
- 1 cup heavy cream
Trim the crusts of the bread.
Clean and cut the leaves of the strawberries and shape them into heart shapes. You can shape it into a heart by cutting the top into a v-shape.
Whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks. It is a lot easier and faster to do this with an electric whisk.
Spread the whipped cream evenly on the bread, place the strawberries, and top with more cream. I put the heavy cream into a piping bag and pipe it out. Then, I use a cream handle cutlery to smooth the heavy cream.
Cover with another slice of bread.
Wrap tightly with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Cut the sandwich into small triangles before serving.
